Hello all !! David recently asked me about the book I am in the middle of reading. I thought it appropriate to share
about it with all of you. The book is :
"A Course In Freedom: The Drunken Monkey Speaks"
by Lawrence Lanoff
It is available at his website: www.acourseinfreedom.com .
He writes very well to things that are at the core of my own work and practice, the unraveling/unfolding of
language/hypnosis/perception/awareness. Working from the perspective of exposing all of our concepts of
what is "real", or "reality", as pure illusion based in the projections of the mythological (logical-mythos) forms
locked in our sub-conscious, chapter by chapter he strips away layer upon layer of name/form concepts,
attempting to leave the reader in a state of clarity of perception of pure energy fluidity with/in consciousness.
It has been incredibly stimulating to me. I have found myself sitting contemplating the spinning of my own thoughts
for hours after reading a chapter (many of which are only a few pages long). My plan (already approved by the
author) is to take my second reading of the book and write a Blog from my unfolding thoughts in response to
each chapter. When I start that I will invite all of you to read along with the conversation between my "Sacred
Fool" and his "Drunken Monkey".
Hoping that all of you are finding things in your daily lives to stimulate and challenge your concepts of perception
and awareness.
In love and fluidic truth.
Blessed Be
