Tell me your story, and I will tell you mine!
I first saw an ad for BeGoths in Gothic Beauty. It showed Angelica Noir, and I was so impressed by the quality of the doll! I had to buy her... So I go to the Begoths website, and not only did I buy her, but I also bought Evening Storm. Soon after that, I have been building my collection. I joined the Street Team, I joined the Crypt Club, and now I have gone so far as to start up groups like this one! FYI, I also started one on Livejournal, and the address to that one is...

Re: What's your story?
Mon, April 9, 2007 - 11:03 PMI got Raven Dragonfire for Christmas a few years ago. When I found out they made a series of them, I bought Storm, and then later Abcynthia Chaser. Then I received Suzi Sinful, Evening Storm, and a variant of Divinity as gifts. I have them sitting on doll furniture. I want to collect more. I'm looking forward to the the new series #6. How do you like the Crypt Club? I've been considering joining the Crypt Club. Is buying dolls from the Begoths site pretty painless? -

Re: What's your story?
Tue, April 10, 2007 - 11:46 AMWell, I first saw them in an issue of Gothic Beauty and I thought they were the most adorable things on earth.
So, when Spencer's was selling those dolls half-off, I took my chance. I have three of the first season dolls in my closet. They're beautiful.

Tue, April 10, 2007 - 8:21 PMHehe, I'm with Ariadne, I have been wanting to start collecting BE Dolls and then there was Spencer's half off sale...
The full story is: I was having a HORRIBLE day, my boyfriend broke up with me, I got sold out by the actress I was gonna use in this short I was shooting and I got caught in a rainstorm. then while running to my car, i find a $50 bill on the parking lot and I happen to be at the mall later that day and Storm is right there on sale. I think the world owed me and I needed to buy her. -

Wed, April 11, 2007 - 1:27 PMJust dig the dolls. I don't own any but they remind me of Camille Rose Garcia art. I love art and anything with a Gothic flavor.

Re: What's your story?
Wed, April 11, 2007 - 6:01 PMActually yes it is quite painless to order from their site! They have some of the best customer service EVER. I feel that they have great customer service right now because they are still a small company and Veronica runss all the orders and handles all the customer service.
Nearly a year after I first purchased Angelica Noir, for no reason her head broke off! I was mortified. Also, my Morbidia's arm broke off when I was moving her around. I freaked! So I e-mailed the comapny right away, and I sen tthem pics of what happened. They promptly sent out two new replacement dolls! I was thrilled, I was happy to see that someone believes in customer service still.
The Crypt Club is cool, they send you a bunch of fun stuff, and then you get to buy the exclusives. I just bought the purple Leda Swanson, so I am anxiously awaiting her! yay!
Hope that helps! -
