i'm a chestnut... pretty accurate, i think. although my first reaction to the question (before i read the whole post) was weeping willow. then i read that one, and it seems kinda accurate too...

Funny, I'm a tree that I don't think I've ever heard of! What an interesting synopsis. . .It seemed right on, til the end where it said "does not forgive." I didn't think that was true of me until my husband reminded me of my relationship (or lack thereof) with my father. No, haven't forgiven him have I? So maybe this is hitting a little closer to home. Might have to plant me a Rowan tree. . .
