I think most of us are crafty, even just a little bit. What items do you really enjoy making yourself? What items do you loathe making yourself & would pay for?
For me, I love making hair decorations. And harem pants. I could make harem pants for DAYS... And I really like making bras - I even like the tedious part of covering/converting them.
However, I simply LOATHE making tiered skirts, especially anything over 10 yards. I find the process tedious, and my mind wanders, and then before you know it, I have a half-finished skirt that I really don't care to finish. I would rather pay someone anyday to do it for me (assuming I have the funds to do so...LOL).

Thu, May 28, 2009 - 12:53 PMBabies aside – which I've avoided making so far – I don't particularly "loathe" making anything… I just never seem to get to it. Big pile of fabric, big pile of drawings… not nearly enough time.
And I'm not good at pants… I want pants that fit "nicely" in my crotch, not be super-huge there, not look weird there, etc. I don't want to feel too crotchtacular. -
