Washability / care instructions? I always ask when there's velvet involved. Granted, washability will "change" based on what each person uses to embellish with.
Do we order our current bra size? Do we order a size larger to accommodate beadwork? Does it vary depending on what we intend to do with it?

a) Hand-wash --> the base (leaving the straps out of the water)
b) Dryel or dyr-clean --> the whole thing
c) Vodka:water --> spray down the inside of the cups/straps & hang to dry
You're right - I would not get the straps wet if at all possible. It can take a *light* misting of the vodka:water mixture, to remove odors, but that'd be it. And, of course, this may change due to what you adorn it with.
2) Order your current size. The bra cup WILL NOT SHRINK no matter the decorations. The only time it would shrink is if you are planning on adding a lining to it. If not, don't worry. If so, tell me your CURRENT size & that you are planning on lining it. I will size it accordingly.
