Yes, that's correct and, if memory serves, it was at a TX workshop that Taia met Fifi! Other than a Las Vegas workshop (that Fifi did not attend), this appears to be as far West that Dee Dee (Little Egypt) brings her workshops. When Taia spoke with Fifi, she said she'd like to come to Hawaii within two years. If Fifi comes to Hawaii for workshop(s), it will primarily due to Taia's rapport with her.

Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival -- this would be an awesome trip for any of us who could make it, and is the only reason that Dee Dee does not plan any US workshops during this time. All the prominent/current bellydance stars attend this event and, especially for Dee Dee, is an event not to be missed! At least that's my understanding from Taia. Let's discuss, aloha, jean :)
