Masayo has kindly written a class recommendation

I'd be great if others would also add their rating to Masayo's accordingly -- just click on her recommendation and look for the Stars rating, then i think we'll see the number of degrees go up!

looking like a troupe

Hey All,

So...this year I want to be more serious about my dancing and be a serious member of Jean's troupe (Bellydance 808 Hawai`i Raks).

I know for me one of the very things I need to learn more is isolations. Jean's classes are great but I want to practice at home and I think a DVD will help me improve.

Any suggestions? I heard Ansuya's luscious layers is a good DVD.

workshops on the mainland

I found out that Fifi Abdo does a workshop in Texas (I think) every year.

It will be April 18-20, 2008. Too bad she's not coming to Hawaii (someone wrote on tribe that she heard a rumor that Fifi may do a workshop in Hawaii).

I also heard about Tribal Fest 7 in California on the third weekend of May every year: http://www.blacksheepbellydance.com/tf7/faq.html
