The book gives detailed instructions for how to make Egyptian-broadcollar inspired neckpieces. I followed project #3 verbatim, except that I changed the color scheme. I found it very hard to find a good variety of colors for the 11 or 12 millimeter bugles.
I estimate that there is 200 yards of thread (size 46 bonded nylon) inside the beads, and that it took me about 80 hours. It was great fun - give it a try!
Now off to look at that book......
It must have taken a war and a picnic's worth of time to make - but it looks worth it! :)
