Well, i posted this in DIY but I figured I'd post h ere too in case.
I LOVE wearing pants to dance in, I always buy LRose as they are about half the price of any other pair of pants for Belly Dance. My question is does anyone know what kind of pattern I should use, or where to get one, for stretch fabric that i can modify into say Melos, or Firefly, or Suhaila's style?
It woudl super cool to make my own pants, and probably very easy.
Any suggestion would be super helpful.

Thu, April 9, 2009 - 7:19 AMIf you already have a pair you love, why not use those as a pattern- heckuva lot easier than adapting a strange pattern to your body. Threads magazine and Sew News both have had articles on how to do this that you may be able to find either online or at your local library. Even if they don't carry those magazines, they may be able to request them for you.
