Hi,
I'm working on a warrior woman bellydance fusion performance and I want a brown leather halter bra. Does anyone know of artists who make them? I've tried etsy and ebay to no avail.
Thanks!

Re: Xpost: Where can I get a leather halter bra???
Mon, June 22, 2009 - 9:33 PMLook up Harley Davidson and other bike shops in your area.
Leather is the preferred fabric for biker gear. I did a punk go-go gig a few years ago and I thought a leather bra would be fab. That's where I found one. You might want to look up the shops and call them and inquire before you drive all over town. Not everyone has them, but this one particular bike shop did.
Good luck! -

Mon, June 22, 2009 - 9:37 PMI've tried that, but haven't had good luck. PLUS I'm looking for brown, which isn't nearly as popular as black...

Re: Xpost: Where can I get a leather halter bra???
Thu, June 25, 2009 - 1:44 AMare you looking for patent (shiny) leather, or a softer suede look? If you can sew or know someone who does, there are patterns online or that can be found at the library or cheaply at the fabric store.
I have some leather-look pleather that is lined in a felt-like fabric backing, I believe it was a remnant from the upholstery department. it would be tough to sew, but would look awesome. might be sweaty to wear, as pleather doesn't breath well.
for the suede look, there should be fabric to mimic that also, probably in a range of colors. I would imagine that it would be much more comfortable.
