Just curious! Do you have any great suggestions for wrinkle cream, tips on hair dye, the best lipstick to plump the lips, better stretches for our aging bodies? ;-)

Since we are all supposed to be 40 and over, this new tribe member could be our son's age. ..If this were a tribe of men and they posted some of the comments in here about a woman, she wouldn't last long. We should welcome him and give him the respect he deserves.

Sat, January 17, 2009 - 5:54 AMIt is a little light hearted teasing. Teasing that I feel certain my 20 something son would find amusing if he were here. I seriously doubt that any of these ladies mean any disrespect to this "young stud".
Not everyone finds the same things amusing. We are all entitled to our opinion.

Sun, January 11, 2009 - 12:39 PMI have a friend who used a cream that eradicated her stretch marks (she's Irish pale, too). Don't know about hair dye or lipstick, but I do know yoga is supposed to help for aging bodies.

She didn't mention the name of the cream, but it certainly helped. She'd gotten stretch marks from weight gain, and they just went away after she used the cream for a few weeks.
Yoga? Yes, but not as intensely as before. I do more static exercises now.
Your dance, you mean bellydancing? Sure, just never formally trained; more raw I guess. :)

I loved the idea of people being that serious about creating and acting in a world of the past, but I disagreed with their mantra of representing only "the respectable, likable aspects of medieval and renaissance society" (word-for-word). Basically, they frowned on the idea of me playing a low-caste, lecherous 13th century Moorish vagabond, and I decided their 'society's' idea of realism was lousy and historically biased.
I show up, but I don't carry a card, unless I plan to fight. I add to what they're not willing to represent.
Bellydance? Not too many teachers around where I've been, but then I best learn by watching. It's how I learned to streetdance, too.
Yes, there is one, but I'm kind of shy about being seen by a lot of people ;). Hehe.
