To note: This was only the second time I'd heard the song with the full band - the recorded version I'd gotten a week earlier didn't have the horns at all. I was also dancing on a 5 foot high 4 foot wide platform which I hadn't been expecting, so it ended up being mostly improv, as what I'd practiced and planned on doing became impossible....and I know my arms got stupid towards the end as i was exhausted. And I was wearing foot undeez, which got all bunched up under my toes, but fortunately, the part where that became a major issue wasn't filmed.
On that note, give me your worst!
Thanks!

Re: Fusion feedback, if you don't mind....
Sat, September 13, 2008 - 10:14 AMMy only issue is with the band. I don't know what they were thinking when they allowed the other girls up on to their stage when you were dancing. From what I saw you were beautiful! -

Re: Fusion feedback, if you don't mind....
Sun, September 21, 2008 - 1:15 PMI could really identify with you up there on the stage...it felt like there was alot of energy in the room, (that was a music festival, right?) and combined with a live band, that must've been an intense performance. I could tell you were improvising. I thought you looked beautiful. I know that feeling, "this is not my best dancing" maybe it wasn't, but I could see your skill.
Not too sure about those veil girls, I would have kept the camera on you. -

Re: Fusion feedback, if you don't mind....
Fri, September 26, 2008 - 12:30 PMYep, a music festival. It was pretty crazed. There was a contortionist, and a few aerials acts before mine which got the energy up early on.

Re: Fusion feedback, if you don't mind....
Mon, September 22, 2008 - 5:59 PMFrom what I saw of you, I think you were doing quite well and I found myself wanting to see more of what you were doing instead of the gals with the fans. I suppose my only criticism is for the other girls - it would have looked better if they had coordinated or choreographed something so they didn't look like random waviness on stage. You looked awesome and moved well to the music. I especially liked how well you made all the fringe fly. -

Re: Fusion feedback, if you don't mind....
Fri, September 26, 2008 - 12:28 PMIn the fan girls defense - they did have a choreographed number, but the stage was about half the size we were told it would be and they had to improvise for lack of room, which they haven't practiced with the fanveils....
Thankyou!

Re: Fusion feedback, if you don't mind....
Fri, October 3, 2008 - 10:32 PMWell, I love your dancing and I think you did really well despite having curveballs thrown at you.
A few minor things:
1) Maybe it was the camera angle, but I'd like to see you elongate your neck and roll your shoulders down and back. Occasionally your shoulders looked like they were creeping up to the ears
2) During the fast parts, I would be aware of the arms. Minor again, but they tend to hit positions as opposed to traveling through positions. When you're smooth the arms seem to flow naturally through various levels and positions, but when it gets faster it doesn't seem to flow as nice.
3) I think too, try to get your arm undulations to travel thruogh the whole hand. Sometimes I saw some wrist floppage instead of the movement rolling out thruogh the fingertips.
Great musicality, and again, you were hitting accents in a way that made it look like you had been dancing to this song all your life. Nice job! Thanks for watching my vid!

Thu, January 29, 2009 - 2:48 PMHarro!!!!
My big thing was i wished the camera man would have focused on you more.
Other than that, your hands seemed to kind of flop over here and there, your technique was awesome and i loved your costume!!!! -
