Yay! I finally figured out how to post something on YouTube (I am so proud of myself). Improv fusion piece from last weekend. Would love any critique. Thanks!

Wow, I loved i! Very engaging. I've recently begun working much more on my belly and torso accentuation and isolations, and I thought yours were really lovely! It was hard to see your face, but it seemed like you were having a great time. I felt that your posture was very strong throughout, and you weren't afraid to hold a pose if that's what the music called for.

My only two negatives are really small...one is to keep the fingers slightly closer together while doing the dramatic flamenco wrist curls; and the second is that I thought the veil post at the beginning was a tad too villain-from-a-silent-movie (veil held just under eyes thing). I couldn't tell if that was tongue-in-cheek or not. But either way it was a very effective and fun way to claim your dance space.

Ok...maybe one more. While I thought your poses were beautiful and strong, there were a lot of them. But I may be projecting a bit since I tend to do a lot of poses as well. But they were always well-placed and fit well with the music.

Great use of the floor and excellent musicality. What can I say...super fun! Thanks for posting!

Thanks GibsonPearl! Yes, I definitely need to work on my hands. It's number one on my list of things to improve right now.

The veil thing at the beginning was meant to be kind of silly. Definitely still working on that veil section...maybe I'll try something else there next time. Hmmm...

Thanks for the ideas! Very insightful!

Ok, that is the way it's DONE!

I have zero critiques. You commit so well, that any critiques I could have had about your dancing technique gets SO forgotten when I'm watching how well you just DANCE.

I'm sure there are things you need to work on, but I didn't see them. I was just so entertained the entire time, by your presence, your body language, and the energy, that I feel... well.... thanks for letting me watch it. I loved it.

I want to see you live.

That was so joyful to watch! I wish I could have seen your face better, but I could FEEL how much fun you were having.

This piece is so incredibly refreshing! I just wish the video wasn't so dark.

I just have one small comment, this might possibly be because of the angle of the camera, but when you had one hand up and the other down around your hip it looked like your hand was on your butt.

You may have not heard this before but I like how you lift your knee. Kinda funny bet yeah the way you do it is sheik. Isolations were great and the whole thing was free spirited and fun. The only thing I'd say to make the beginning a little more engaging is to do what you did at the end which was changing the direction of your spin which worked really well so when entering to go one way and then do maybe a small spin and then travel in the opposite direction around the room and so on. It's good too that eventhough it was improv that there was a common thread through the dance which leads the eye of the audience like when getting caught up in a story or movie.
