Hello!
I have a video from our hafla this past weekend. It's a solo that my teacher and I whipped together in about a week. Then I sprained my ankle. :O So here is the solo we made up in about a week and then I couldn't practice for a week up until the hafla.
Our show was mythology themed and I was King Xion who was in lvoe with Zeus's wife Hera which upset Zeus so he sent me to spin in a wheel of fire for all eternity.

Like this one, as well...just too bad that you couldn't actually do fire hoop, since it was supposed to be a 'wheel of fire'...oh, well...you'll just have to save that for outdoor performances, I guess...;-)

I have to admit though, your presentation with the sword was so compelling, building up the drama so well, I was dissapppointed when you put it down! I know that just because you dance with sword does not mean you HAVE to balance it, but you just did such a fantastic job, I wanted to see what you would do next!
The performance was a lot of fun to watch :)
