hey there,
Well, it sure looked like you were having fun for the most part! It was hard to see all of your expressions, but when I saw the little winks and such to the audience it was super cute. I saw you do what I consider a Mira Betz move--the wiggling fingers coming down--and thought maybe you were winking at her :)
Overall I really enjoyed watching you and think you have a lot of varied and interesting movement. I did think the head pops were a bit excessive, but that's probably a matter of taste since all of them were well-executed and sharp. I did see some other Zoe-esque movements int there that I think could be tightened...in a lot of the quick torso moves I saw some slumping of the shoulders and letting go of the tailbone as opposed to keeping everything tight and controlled. I really loved your arms and found them very graceful, especially a reaching move that you did in your solo vid at around 2:56--very striking.
Your laybacks are very nice but I think they could have used some buildup. I know that first song didn't have much variation so in that case you sort or have to build your own "build", if that makes sense. Meaning that you start out slower, or more subtle, or what have you and build to the spins, laybacks, tricks, etc. I really liked your smooth way of moving around the space, especially in the first video. You kept your arms moving and it created a really dynamic feel.
What else...maybe a little more variation in the speed of your movements would have been nice. You tend to have a fairly midtempo speed most of the way through each piece...think about slowing it WAY down in one section and speeding it WAY up in another. Create texture in your movements so that when you do that quick spin with the head hit it really creates an impact...and when you shift into the slow stuff make it super slow and use that time to draw in the audience before shifting back into the midtempo or what have you.
But overall it looked great and I'd love to see you in person! Hope that helps :)
