rose harden, former co-director of ultra gypsy and founding member of barbary coast shakedown here.

i'll be heading to northern maine via boston this summer and am looking to share some of the best of the san francisco bay area technique and approach with you lovely ladies ...

any help in finding contacts/community would be much appreciated

dates are end of july- beginning of aug

    Hey, how northern in Maine? Some of the Paradigm East gals might be interested in hosting (Bangor), and I can put you in touch with some dancers in Ellsworth. I would also be happy to put something together in Portland if you're coming through town.

          And, hey, aren't you the maker of those fabulous Rose Hips? Mira brought them to Portland with her last summer and they were a hit!

            Yes!!!!! Bangor or Ellsworth! We would love to have you come up. I know there are quite a few ladies in the area who would be interested.

            Are you going to bring some rose hips with you? I've always wanted one of those. :)

              i'll have a rental car when there so i can travel... but am unfamalliar with the community/locations etc so any input on that end would be great!

              YES- i will bring rosehips and will even take special orders.

                if you let us know what towns you are going to be in - we can direct you to the dancers in the area - we all pretty much know each other (at least by e-mail addy)

                I am about a half an hour outside Ellsworth and know at least a half dozen from pretty close by who would be interested!!!

    What do you have for an itinerary? I've been doing workshops/shows here in Bangor for the last 9 Labor Days, but I was supposed to have moved and haven't done anything for this year. I am hosting a 'mini' workshop and hafli with Kashani of Oregon in August, but aside from that I think Bangor is open. If you are doing workshops in New England before you get here, though, our workshops will end up being smaller than usual (the Labor Day weekends generally brought in dancers from VT, MA, and CT as well.)

    Need some lead time, though. So, let us know what's happening. That way, we can decide where, when, interest level, etc. Which will dictate how many people and how much money. Can you send me contract specs in a PM?
