Dear Fellow Mainers,
I have not lived in Mine for many years, but I was born there, in Kittery and spent a lot of my childhood in Sanford. I visited my relatives in Maine last year for the first time since I was 14. I hope you will let me e an honorary member of the Maine Tribe!! I LOVED coming home if I am officially live away now.

I'm like you: I'm moving to the NW. Plans have been put on hold for the moment bu we're coming. It will be great to swap coastal news. -

It seems years ago there was a dancer in Anchorage who used to occasiuonally come down to Washington for events. I can't remember her name. She was very dark haired and quite beautiful.

Her name is so right on the tip of my tongue.... she was shortish and on the pleasantly plump and luscious side. I think her hair was straight and very black. She looked slightly Asian or American Indian. ( Not like me.... I am part Penobscot Indian but do not look like it.)

Have either of you ever heard of Selena Star? She was on the cover of Jareeda in July 1992. ( I have so much old belly dance stuff around here..... 35 years' worth of it....) She was from Anchorage.

Where do you live? I lived in Oxnard in Ventura County and I graduated from high school in Novato in Marin, just on the other side of the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. (My husband is from Oxnard.)
