Is the transportation add on the best bet? 2 of us are going..... how hard is it to get a cab? Can we add on the transportation once we get there?

Re: Transportation to the show
Sat, August 29, 2009 - 3:08 PMWe have 2 couples going so we are hoping to be able to call for a cab and split it. The $20 per person limo ride seems steep to me, but that's just my opinion. My husband and I can't afford the combined $40 for a limo. I would rather spend it on something sparkley and shiney. -

Sun, August 30, 2009 - 6:06 AMWe have 2 in our party. Are there others that would like to share a ride in a taxi? Or a local willing to drive for a donation? -

Re: Transportation to the show
Mon, August 31, 2009 - 2:12 AMYou might post on the LVBellydancers yahoogroup. Most of the locals are there. Tribe has been so inactive as of late that I'm not sure you are getting the response you need here.
Getting a cab from the hotel is super easy. They will be lined up out the door. However, you will want to take down the number of the cab companies and call for a return cab during intermission.

Re: Transportation to the show
Mon, August 31, 2009 - 2:16 AMI've heard this complaint from more than a few people and we are working towards having a shuttle in 2010; however, it's too late in the game for us to make changes this year. To be honest, the $20 limo ride isn't really much more expensive than cab fare here in Vegas, although if you can get a group to share a cab, it can save some on costs. We aren't making any money with the limo service...we just thought it would be a fun way to arrive to the venue in Vegas-style. :)
I'm sure the vendors won't mind that you want to do more shopping with them...*grins*
