So I finally arrived home late yesterday afternoon. I opted to spend a couple of
extra nights at Palace Station to recuperate. Hahahaha.

I don't even know where to begin. This has been the most amazing year, ever!
The festival was such a wonderful addition and brought in so many people to Las
Vegas. The lunch and lecture with Shira was also a great new addition. I have
some great ideas for next year already!

The shows were stellar, the shopping was amazing, the classes were fabulous, and
the after-party/DVD release was awesome.

We sold out of tee shirts...twice! We sold out of gift bags too! I only have a
few remaining water bottles and programs left.

The press just seemed to love us this weekend. We had articles in the Las Vegas
Weekly, the Las Vegas Sun, and we graced the cover of the Friday edition of the
Las Vegas Review Journal.

But the best part of the entire weekend was all the amazing connections and
sense of community that was created. The relationships that were developed or
deepened is what it is all about!

I truly don't know what I would do without the Team of Directors. Each and
every one of them were so amazing. Reema was the most glorious hostess and
organizer. Kind, responsible, passionate, and dedicated!! Ashtalea was so
organized with the festival. I didn't even have to lift a finger. She did it
ALL!!! Love her!!! Willene did a stupendous job with running the shows. I've
heard nothing but amazing feedback. Paul was on top of every technical nuance
and requirement with his usual cheerful self. Carolee was the most gracious
vending hostess ever. She spent time with every vendor and showed them the new
layout at the Flamingo and even let them choose their booths!

And the VOLUNTEERS!!!! There were so many of them!! And so helpful!! I was so
impressed and grateful. We need each and every one of them!!

We have so many people returning to the 2010 event. It is so exciting to
already be looking forward to another great year. It's always such a shock to
work so hard for so long..and then suddenly, poof...it's over!

Hugs to everyone who supported the event! And big kudos to our local community
for being so warm and welcoming to the hundreds of dancers that came from over
35 states and 4 countries to attend the 2009 Las Vegas Bellydance Intensive &
Festival.
