Hello, new to this tribe, I'm a Major, USA, currently at Ft Lewis near Seattle, WA. Happy New Year to everyone!
Annwyn, I read your article CPT Halfaker. I used to be at Walter Reed and was part of the medical team taking care of the amputees. She arrived right before I transferred, so I didn't get a chance to know her. Regardless, I'm so glad to hear she's doing well. Thank you for your lovely article about her!
BTW, did you know LTC Ron Stephens (MD) at all in Japan? He headed up the hospital there but he's since left. He's our consultant for our medical specialty. Small world!

WELCOME!
The article about CPT Halfaker is one I wrote - that is OK though Annwyn is close to Ayshah at first glance :o) You are THE first person on tribe to thank me for my article. This means A LOT to me - not for me - but more importantly in honor of Dawn and her service. Thank you!!! My husband and I visited Dawn in DC two months ago - she is amazing and doing very well. I will PM you re your question about LTC Stephens.
Best,
A
