Anyone purchase pants from them on ebay or through their website? They look really cool, but the rating is kind of eh.

It looks like the negative ratings are pretty old - like five years ago - let us know if you buy anything and how it works out.

I bought a top from her on ebay on October 12 for a photo shoot and the Raks Spooki II hafli (in Boston, MA). I was going to embellish the top to match a skirt and had bought rhinestone chain, sequins, etc for it. The top was promised to be shipped within 2-3 business days. When I emailed after 2 weeks, I get back a response that it would take 4 - 6 weeks for it to be mailed to me as that was standard. I email back, it may be standard, but that's not what you put in the listing on ebay.
No repsonse.
At this point, I've paid over $30 bucks for this thing, still need to embellish it and am now really running out of time in which to do this.
Email back and request a refund or the top within the next 7 days. This is roughly 3 weeks since I purchased it on ebay. Paypal disputes are only within 30 days of purchase and payment. The deadline I have given her is exactly 29 days from purchase to protect myself.
No repsonse.
Open the dispute on Paypal of the 30th day.
Get an immediate response from the seller that she had mailed the item on the 9th of November. She doesn't submit a tracking numer so the dispute stays open.
I bought and paid for this item on October 12.
Receive the top 2 weeks later. With a mailing date on the package of November 14 or 15th.
I have not left her feedback, as it seems clear from reading her feedback for others that she responds with retaliatory negative feedback.
She outright lied to me about when she shipped the item to have the paypal dispute closed (which I didn't close, it aged out)
I didn't have the top within the time frame promised in the auction, she lied about shipping, and she was un responsive when asked to attend to a customers need.
i have every single bit of this transaction printed and filed away under Lousy Sellers. -

The others were from sellers and two (out of six) seemed to be a result of an unreasonable seller who refused to combine shipping on multiple items...
I've never bought from her, but I would.

I sent them back and she said she'd send replacements but still hasn't. I've emailed repeatedly and have been given tons of excuses, but no refund or replacements. I've contacted the attorney general in my state to get my money back. I'll not be ordering from them again. -

Tue, April 1, 2008 - 6:42 AMI ordered a Garter Pants outfit from her and it after 6 weeks when it hadn't come (she said she was having problems with her sewers) she emailed and promised to send the part of the order that was done and included a free pair of Pirate pants as an apology. So despite the long wait, I felt like she made a genuine effort to make it up to me. My garter pants and pirate pants came a few days later and I have to say, they're awesome!

Tue, April 8, 2008 - 4:45 PMI wouldn't buy from her. I bought 4 tops from her, all extra small (I am a UK size 10) and they were too big for me. I wouldn't actually have minded so much but on one of the tops the sleeve had been sewn on weird, kind of bunched up and there was a gap where it wasn't sewn on at all. I don't mean torn, I mean just plain not sewn on. :(
I had e-mailed her regarding the status of my order when I got no confirmation that she had received my PayPal payment, and she had taken quite a while to reply to this. Noticing that she seemed to be more active on Tribe, I decided to leave a message on her tribe. In retrospect I maybe should have just PM'd her but I was a little annoyed and wanted people to know about my experience buying from her.
She deleted my comment completely.
I'm not surprised, but kind of ticked off.
So now I am stuck with 4 tops, that don't fit me, and one has a dodgy arm.
Lovely.
P.S. If anyone buys a Ghawazee top from her website, please be aware that it seems to be rather dangerous to raise your arms above shoulder height, as the bottom flips up over your boobs and ends up around your chin. Mine does, anyway. Maybe I should pin it to my bra or something. >_> -

Mon, April 21, 2008 - 8:37 AMI have not purchased anything from her personally, but I have heard/seen that her stuff does NOT fit well according to size expectations (i.e. you would expect a small to fit, if you normally wear a small).
One of my troupemates/friends purchased a bra from her, and it was a small. It was way too big for her, so she asked me if I was interested in it. I am a C/D, and it was WAY too big for me too! My question is --- WHO is the small made for - Dolly Parton?! :P
