Hi all! I've been looking at and thinking of buying Belly by Sandra, Vol 1. Has anyone here tried it? Is it any good? I've used other Cheeky Girls DVDs in the past (all Michelle Joyce) and have really liked them. Thanks!

Tue, May 5, 2009 - 10:12 AMI think this is a great DVD. I think this is one of the best beginner DVDs I've seen in a while. I use it to brush up on basics and it has some nice variations to challenge more advanced dancers.

Wed, May 13, 2009 - 10:46 AMIt s an amazing dvd. I wrote this tribe entry back when i got it, with my review in a bhuz thread.
I am not sure I told about my progress with the dvd there - it made me actually use muscle groups in isolations I had not used before by the 2nd time of working with it (like the glutes, separately in upward vertical 8s).
If you were to get one dvd only for isolations and/or serious beginners, this would be the one I'd advise you. And I own about 100 bellydance dvds, being a collectionitis plagued somewhat advanced beginner :) (for a 2nd choice to complement this one I d advise you Autumn Ward's - with these 2 you learn perfect beautiful bellydance technique! :) ) -
