Tue, March 10, 2009 - 8:35 PMI'm a big fan of Tamalyn Dallal's Serious Belly Dance DVD. Although I'm not sure if it's still available. Sadie's drum solo and technique DVDs are pretty good, too.
You might also try Rachel George's choreography DVDs. -

it depends on what you need choreograph or drills?
there are not a lot of advanced dvd's out there actually when you hit amazon and ebay its pretty much all beginner to intermediate but very few are advanced.

Even if you aren't into Tribal Fusion, the warm-up, conditioning and drills will whip you into shape and can still be challenging to the intermediate to advanced dancer. World Dance New York is a good production company because they make long videos so instead of the usual 50 min. workout dvd you might get 3 hours worth of footage. You can go to their website to look up their other dvds (worlddancenewyork.com), but I would definitely recommend Asharah's first. I <3 her so much! -

Thu, March 12, 2009 - 7:29 PMI just ordered Asharah's yoga and drills because it came so highly recommended from my teacher. I haven't gotten it yet, but I am looking forward to breaking it out and being very sore for several weeks. -

Thu, April 9, 2009 - 9:53 PMThere is a nice one out on Baladi by Renae somebody from WDNY and it is excellent. it is what I would call an advanced DVD because it talks about the music progression, steps and drills. I've got it and it is excellent. I highly recommend it -
