Hi there...
I'm taking my first class now. We've had two sessions. It's at the Castle Rock rec center. It's a lot harder than I thought it would be, but I'm motivated to get it! I'm thinking I may have to travel up to Denver or down to the Springs for my next class. We'll see. Thanks for being here and welcoming everyone.

Re: Newbie
Fri, June 29, 2007 - 10:08 AMThanks! I am leaning toward the Springs anyway, the traffic is not as bad, unless I have to go all the way south into town. I am more interested in tribal fusion than the Morrocan style I am currently taking, but it's all so new to me right now that I don't know too much either way. Any info would be appreciated. Thx again. -

Re: Newbie
Fri, June 29, 2007 - 11:01 AMIf you are looking for tribal fusion in the Springs, here are the instructors that I can vouch for:
Kamara - www.bellydivas.com/ (Mondays at 5:30 and 6:30)
Amy - www.springssalsa.com/amy.htm (Wednesdays at 6:00)
Mahalia Leilani (Mary) - crazyincolorado@msn.com (don't have schedule)
Of course, if you want to learn ATS, my teacher is fantastic:
www.zafiabellydance.com/ (Wednesdays 6:30 and 7:30)
As for Denver, I have to recommend Molly from TribalTique: www.tribaltique.com
Hope this helps!

Re: Newbie
Mon, August 20, 2007 - 12:04 AMCongrats on taking classes. Have you found one you just love, yet? I think Morroccan style sounds interesting, but I don't know what it would be like. I only have taken from two instructors in Denver, and they are central. Of course, they are both great!
Have fun,
PeaceAndLove,
