Saad's Il Moulid?

Anybody familiar with the Saad song Il Moulid? I'm seeking a translation. I'm familiar with what a moulid is from reading A Trade Like Any Other, so I'm guessing the song is about having fun at the moulid, but I'd like to know for sure. I have a copy of it on a CD compiled by Tarik Sultan--I have an email in to him about it, but I know he's a very busy man so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask here :-)

Help finding info on "Shrook" by Samira Saied

Howdy

I'm wondering if anyone can help me verify the artist and help me find the album to a song I've found in MIDI files.

As far as I can find, the artist may (may not?) be Samira Said also spelled sometimes Samira Saied. However, I can't find the song listed on any of the discographies I can find online and of course, I can't find an album from any of my 'usual' sources that has the song.

Anyone familiar and can help me with the info?

I heard on Bhuz.com that another singer recorded a more modern version, but the person who posted that info couldn't remember the name of the singer.
Any assistance?

SONG ID! HELP! Shaabi- Zaleina?

Hi all. I recently heard a cute shaabi song (Egyptian, male singer) in a workshop. Another student in the class who seemed to know the words to the song told me the name and the singer. It was a little noisy, so I am not sure I heard her correctly because I cannot find it anywhere! I believe she said the name of the song was "Zaleina" (that is my spelling, it could be any variation). As for the singer I am not completely sure what she said: something that sounded like Ombar, Umbar, Oumbar, maybe Omar or Amar....does this ring a bell with anyone???? As for the lyrics, I don't remember much except that it is like all typical shaabi tunes and there is a chorus line where the singer goes "ah-la-ah-la-ah-la", kind of staccato.

I'd appreciate any info and leads! Thanks in advance!!

Le cercle rouge has lyrics that are a mix of rench and Arabic. I understand a little of the French- the red circle apparently refers to a burning cigarette in the dark. The Arabic is very repetitive, words that sound like "feegelby jomarah", can anyone tell me what she is singing or what this song is about?
Am planning to use this for a veil dance. I love her voice.

I found the English version at Shira's, but I would so like to have the transcript from Arab to Latin writing PLUS the translation, so I'd know which line in Arab corresponds to which line in English.

I have the lovely Soad Muhammed version but plan to dance to the much shorter pop version by Khaled Agag. These are the lyrics in English from Shira's site.

This song is on the CD One NIght in Cairo I believe, the artist is Tabek Al Araby.
I recognize it as Sha'bi, but I am not able to locate the lyrics to determine if it appropriate for a Melaya choreography. It's extremely fun sounding and upbeat, but you know that can be deceiving!

Hi, this is probably a real dumb question but I was just surfing youtube and saw a clip and it had a real pretty song that I have never heard before. It sounds like the singer is singing to a woman named "Aaeesha" or something like that.
