Basic Production for Belly Dance

I haven't been on Tribe in... probably six months, and for some reason, I never posted here. There's another book out there, and I wrote it, so I'm only qualified to tell you that it's the greatest book ever written, with the possible exception of..... uhh... never mind. No exceptions. :)

What I can [legitimately] tell you is that Basic Production for Belly Dance is an introduction and guide to basic production (!) with emphasis on (and in the language of) belly dance (!) and belly dancers. I’ve gone to some lengths to make the book approachable, accessible and educational. I hope it blends my life’s experience in production work of various sorts with the last several years of belly dance show observation in a constructive and useful way.

If that's enough to get you curious, you can see more about it (including how to get your very own copy!) here: www.rojisan.com/bpbd/

(and don't miss the great photos of [mostly] local dancers... )
