Kris & I had a spinning day at my house today. It was really nice in the backyard until the bees came swarming over the roof and we had to run inside! Now there is a lovely strawberry shaped beehive hanging in the Acacia tree over my deck! Kris finished up some random bits of spinning and plying and I worked on the BORING beige karakul that I will have to dye because it's such a dull color....blah!

I have been using my first ever spun yarn for a tribal fringe belt! It was so hard to make that first cut! This way my belt will be even more special.
Could you add another bright color to the karakul during plying to make a muted stripey yard?
