So along the lines of the Lexi Broeger books & inspiration...yesterday I took a break from Tribal Caravan insanity and prepared a batt. I used Black merino roving & a bunch of random crimson wool that I had cleaned & dyed, cuttings from my serger of bits of black & red lace and skull & cross bone fabric from Robert's pirate pj's, and also black & white striped fabric from pants I was commissioned to sew, and ran it through my drum carder, it's really cool looking! I didn't take a picture of the batt, but I spun it up...I'll have to find the camera and take a picture of the yarn.
