I think the Shetland shorty in the new knitty issue would be perfect out of some cotton handspun. Take a look...

    That screams summery cotton. I can see it in a white perle, or maybe a soft apricot or a vibrant turquoise.

        I'm not sure how I did it...you can also sign up to be a designer...that said I have not yet had the time to submit a design to them since belly dance took over my life!
