Thanks for your interest and compliments! We are right now in the final stretches of editing. We are finishing up the credits and color corrections, while the audio is being mastered and an original score is being composed. It should be done and ready to enter into festivals and show to distributors by mid May.

I am really happy with the final edit. I think it captures the experience of being a belly dancer in America from an intimate and personal standpoint. It's pretty cool because I also produced the film with money brought in by belly dancing and selling belly dance costumes (we have an super LOW budget considering that I live in Boise Idaho, and who makes money belly dancing anyways?)

If you know of any good film festivals, or have any personal connections with any let us know. It can be hard to get noticed in the pile of thousands of submissions. I will look into entering one in your area. We’ll have to hook up if I come to the area!

Oh also I design make and sell belly dance costumes and all the proceeds go entirely and directly to funding BELLY. I will be vending at the Oreet workshop here in Boise on April 5th and 6th, and will be updating my website in a few weeks with a bunch of new items.
