I went, I saw, I danced, I spent lots of money. And it was all well spent. There was beautiful jewelry and bellydance items to be had at really great prices.
Of course my whole purpose for being there was to see Kara Nomadica perform. And I was not disappointed. Not only did they play as I expected they would, but they had a bevy of beautiful bellydancers performing, too. This includes the woman who organized the acts for the stage on which they performed. Her name is Maria and her smile and her professional style were a sight to behold. This, and she is a sweetheart, too. Also, there was Phoenix with a wonderful sword dance, Meghan (did I spell that right?) with a beautiful veil performance, and Julia of Tribaltique, inspiring as always. There was also some traditional dancing.
I hope I didn't miss anything. The plan was to make this entry the next day, since Maria said Sunday was going to be the best day. It would be hard to top Kara Nomadica's performance, I say. My old memory fails me at times, so if I missed something, feel free to lash me. And my apologies for not getting to it right away. The computer is not my life, but I do try to keep up.
