I never thought I would be thankful for a Monday...
- A fun time at the Fire Arts Festival
- Seeing that my mom is comfortable and in good spirits
- Helping a friend with his move
- Having a friend request accepted after months of silence
- Pandora on my iPhone
- Getting ready for Burning Man
- Nice little email from Cecilia across the country
- Life is a series of choices. There is opportunity for growth in both the wrong and the right choices.

My kitties.
I am a professional and know how to conduct myself as such.
Knowing when silence is much more poweful than words.
Cold water.

Re: Monday! July 14, 2008
Tue, July 15, 2008 - 12:10 PMFor today I am thankful for:
~waking up this morning on an air mattress and realizing how wonderful it was to even be where I was.
~the tears I shed and that I allowed them and did not judge them. I am grateful I can feel, I am grateful I can still love.
~spending time with the dog.
~cleaning the kitchen before I left his house.
~a perfect rose to cut and leave where I always leave it.
~a nice lunch where we talked a bit, and then a nice hug when I left.
~a safe drive home that was beautiful.
~seeing my Bigone and us sharing dinner.
~love and the various ways to express it so those around me know I feel it. -

Re: Monday! July 14, 2008
Tue, July 15, 2008 - 2:47 PMfor having paying work lined up for this week and the foreseeable future
for G not getting laid off
for the girls being here and us all laughing and having fun making cookies
for cheap old software that the kids still love
for beautiful weather--sunny but not too hot
for being able to drive and work again in a few days!!!
for direct deposit so I don't have to get my checks and deposit them in person
for realizing that soon I will not have to work at LPI any more once I start my student teaching this fall, and knowing there will be plenty of substituting work there since I'll already be on campus... and the likelihood that will turn into a full time teaching job. I'll teach ANYTHING to stay in Petaluma.
