Ashram and guru is just a business in religion category which is started by some greedy people who learned tricks of the trade from hinduism. You don't need a guru who will make you leave your own family so you can work as slave in his ashram. In India there ae number of thugs who have attained a big name due to innocent devotees and blind followers who are brainwashed to promote their culprit leader as guru and or even as god.
