Big Island Beekeepers Association (BIBA):
The BIBA is a forum for honey bee enthusiasts interested in the rewards and challenges of raising bees on the Big Island. Meetings include presentations and demonstrations related to bee keeping. Members also organize regular field trips to view local honey operations and to observe and practice hive management techniques. Regular meetings are held quarterly (February, May, August, and November) on the second Tuesday of the month. Meetings announcements should appear in local newspapers one week in advance. Visitors are welcome. Call Ole Fulks (808) 966-4074, for more information.
