The object of discussion is the Bible.
Possible topics include its:
--contents, their origin(s), transmission, translation, and interpretation;
--major themes (such as covenant, justice, worship, holiness);
--literary and historical value;
--use in the liturgy and for personal devotion;
--use and abuse in public (usually political) discussion;
--all this as well as whatever one gleans from current reading in or about the Bible.

No particular confessional stance is either required or forbidden.

I hope for challenging conversations in which we each share something we know and learn something we didn’t, with room left over for speculative moonshine.
