Do you mean SIAMESE fighting fish?
Fri, May 9, 2008 - 5:55 PMThe females and males don't tend to fight as much when he is nesting but they do frequently get beaten up. The male makes a bubble nest to attract females to him when he is looking to mate, The female will lay eggs, the male will fertilize them and then, using his mouth, place them in the nest. He then guards the nest until his young hatch, but will also sometimes eat the young as they emerge. -
