During his campaign, Obama candidly addressed the issues of global warming and the need to slowdown its effects on our planet by turning to a "greener" way of living. With his recent selection of Ray LaHood, however, many are concerned that public transportation, compact-living environments and other critical sustainable living issues will not be addressed. Apparently, LaHood has close ties to the construction machinery/transportation giant, Caterpillar.
