I'm looking to replace the basket (it's missing) and would like to find resources for doing that. Also a headlight add on would be nice.
I found this bike in the trash so it was FREE. So far I've put less than $50 to make it rideable, but eventually I would really like to restore it fully.
I love this bike because it reminds me of the bike that the mean old lady in the Wizard of Oz rode. I use it for my "Studio Bike" when I work on big lots.

I found lots of stuff online... perhaps ebay...
Also, Schwinn has collectors forums, perhaps Raleigh has them as well? -

Wed, April 26, 2006 - 5:49 PMRideable Bicycle Replicas sells oil lamp headlights, like the Raleigh Tourist bikes used to have way back when. I have a Raleigh Lady Tourist with an oil lamp, and it looks REALLY cool. Also see them for restoration parts.
