I've gotten the bug now.
Am working on restoring an old Raleigh 10-speed, and a small Fuji VALite 414 "Sagre" I just picked up today. The VALite is in good shape (thanks craigslist!) The Raleigh is coming along now that I've taken some brass brushes to it and replaced the rear break cable. The Raleigh is definitely a labor of lube...but I'm half way through the recondition and the shifters are working pretty good. I even fixed the chain link that had some internal rust problems (I do have more spare time on my hands than I really should).
Along with these I also picked up a Free Spirit 12 speed that is probably destined to be a fixie Burning Man bike for someone as yet who has not stepped forward.
I'll post pics when I get a chance.

I have six bikes now and one of the clerks at my neighborhood drugstore just offered to sell me a pink Univega languishing in her garage...
That's all I know about it, but I can't resist a $20 (or free) bike either !!
Soon I will have no more storage space so the madness must end ;o)
