I have an idea - to have the light saber drive 5 or 6 Luxeon lights instead of one, and use fiber optics to increase the brightness.
The goal: to have a sword that glows in broad daylight!

Sun, March 16, 2008 - 8:53 PMWell I am at phase 2. I have 2 LED's right now. One on the side.
The standard circuitry has 6 transisters that will switch the current! This was because it would turn on different segments.
I ordered LED's for phase 3, but they were the wrong color. Darn!
Fiber optics should be here next week. -
