If you know of any students in the 8th-12th grade, that are in need of free academic support please forward to them.
The Educational Advancement Alliance, Inc. (EAA) After School Enrichment Program (ASEP), offers 8th thru 12th grade students the opportunity to receive free supplemental academic instruction as well as assistance to overcome scholastic challenges.
Once enrolled, students can receive supplemental instruction in Spanish I & II, Math (Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Calculus) and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or participate in enrichment classes such as Effective Writing, Computer Applications, African American History and the ASEP Book Club. In addition, students can attend college-prep workshops, perform community service and tour Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Orientation for the program takes places on the following days Monday, September 19, Tuesday, September 20, and Wednesday, September 21, at Lincoln University Urban Center, 3020 Market Street, 2nd Floor Auditorium 4:00pm -6:00pm. Students are required to attend one of the orientations listed above. Please call and register for orientation as soon as possible.
If any students are interested, please have them complete the attached application as much as possible and submit the packet to the EAA via fax 215-472-2440 or bring the packet to orientation on one of the days listed.
