Just watched the 1977 Peg Long, Queens Show.... *eyes tear up* I loves me some faire!

If Diana's method falls through, I can make ~10 DVDs per hour with the equipment I have set up. What I was missing before is that the capture card is sitting on a shelf and gathering dust, rather than being installed.

Minor point. Although that video is tagged 1977, it's really and truly 1976. There are some key features which I recognized (my ruff size, the horses, and the scene in which Peg is handed and drains the cup) which place it at RPFN 1976. Not sure if you read the thread, but my friend Kathryn filed Peg's cup by mistake with pure vodka, rather than 1/2 vodka and 1/2 water, with quite an amusing result. That happened only once (of course), and it was captured on film. That's my compulsive side kicking in, but 1976 was my first Faire as a courtier, and I can see my costume at the first part of the video.

Whatever the year, it's a great video!!! Luisa also put up one of Pied Powder Court from 1977 or so.

I'll be at the faire, but I don't have a way to get the videos transferred to disks at home, and I won't be back at Casa this year. Anyone else?
