1000-2000w DC/AC inverter for battery power at camp

Hi all. Was thinking about bringing a heap of deep cycle batteries and running them on parallel. I have enough that we would be able to run our lights at night the whole week without recharging them (unless someone has a 12 volt solar battery charger). Anyway, I was wondering what you all though about this idea, and if anyone has an inverter that we could use. Let me know.....

Everyone in Santa Cruz seems to have a freakin' lemon tree! Now, is it that people don't like oranges and grapefruit OR is it just that lemons are in season right now. This I would like to know.

We will face 7:30 with Chase being our closest cross street!!!
We're on the oposite side as last year, and it's a nice central location.
