I know Im dreaming at this point, but its just worth the stoke to express it if you wanna.....Come join me on the Bobolink tribe "I want the frickin turtles back!!" thread.
I was OK with them taking some time off cali festivals and going to some other lands, but after Valentines day, I realise that they cannot be beat in their style and sound........sorry but NOTHING is going to replace the energy they have shelled out at 4 years of Bobolink festin. I know its a long shot but is ANYONE with me on this???????? Please come support my cause......

Thu, February 19, 2009 - 6:43 PMI dont know any speciffics, but Im sure everyones just trying to keep it fresh.....Truthfully I hope BTS plays other festivals instead to get the word out and seduce the masses.....rather than play Bobo for the 5th time, yeah.....but at the same time I cant help but to want them back. Call me selfish, but I wouldnt ask for them back if I didnt think they were special and nothing can replace what they bring to the table. -

Thu, February 19, 2009 - 8:27 PMLooks like Bobo just wants to shift up the line up a bit this year, spend money on some new bands, no dis on BTS...which I concurr....however I just have to put out there that altho I know Garaj is a staple and that they are awesome, its hard because I just saw them at the Foundry for the Film Fest and it was really poor. Then we see BTS at the Foundry and its like fucking 7th Heaven, fresh new delightful awesomeness......so thats a little irritating. BUT, Bobo loves Garaj and the promoter loves his funk and its HIS festy.....still, it just hurts after what I just witnessed at the Foundry. How inspired is Garaj these days? UGH......Sorry to vent Turd Tribe.....just observing the reality of it all. BTS is just whats NOW and would bring a bigger stoke and crowd. Truth -

ALO is saving the Bobo line up for me right now.....I LOVE a lot of the bands on the line up but as far as lacking Turtles, ALO is the only thing that comes close to that feeling, ya know? And thats not even cutting close.......

Wish I could win the lotto....I would gear up BTS and get their asses to Burning Man and make them play for pedicures and manicures and a bunch of $$$......set them up on an awesome stage and just have Turtle festy for a week.......ITS MY WORLD, and its TURTLE RIFFIC :) hahaha......Burning Turds or Bust. ;-) -

YES thats what I needed! Bobo is gonna ROCK this year anyway.....so many great commuinty bands.....I knew I would have to throw a little stink about BTS but I think Im getting over it slowly butt surely !! Just want the world to know how important BTS is to me....I think I have made myself clear.
What I REALLY HOPE is for BTS to make it east of the rockies to the festys over there this summer.....Im going to put my prayers into that instead of whining about my little world and what I get. Let it go, Sam.......GO BIG TURTLES!!!! -

Still, ALO baby! You need to dive into their world of awesomeness!!!! If you havent already. -
