This kind of stuff falling under the radar? You know, I really think that the politicians who are supposedly 'in charge' have lost it, especially in Palin's case. The big problem with our society is that when stuff like the flooding in Eagle, Alaska takes place and destroys a good chunk of their town, nobody here in the Lower 48 gives a flying fuck. Contrast this with the WTC bombing of 9/11/01: you get hours and hours on the evening news about why it happened, how it happened, who did it, what needs to be done about it with opinions and facts flying from so-called 'experts' and pundits of all calibers. Eagle, Alaska gets nothing. Nada. Zero. Nil. Bupkis. And that's just downright wrong.

In that case it's the governor's job to raise awareness, get the senatorial and congressional delegations on their toes, and coordinate the National Guard effort in their home state. Did Todd and Sarah do any of this? No.

Don't worry about the silly woman running for president. She'll be running hard enough to try to stay out of jail with the FBI investigation into her and Todd's misdealings.
