Okay, I just got off the phone with Greg Alvers at Pharmco. They have a reagent grade Ethyl Acetate available at about 1/4th the cost of most suppliers. A 5 gallon container (with built-in spout) runs about $52, and 4 plastic 1-gallon containers run about $46.
Here's the specifics, though:
1) It must be delivered to a business
2) $250 minimum order
3) It may put you on a DEA meth watch list.
Also, it can be picked up from their site in northern california (to save shipping).
And possibly the best news of all, they're willing to work with Ace hardware (or whoever) to get this on retail shelves. I'm not sure I can do this by the Burn, but we may have it there by the end of the year. And at the bulk Ace would buy in, it may run less than white gas.
