Cross group membership

At least once per year, it seems, one member of one of the Los Angeles fire conclaves ends up on two conclave membership lists. Sometimes 3 or 4. I'm curious to know if other cities/groups have the same thing going on. I'm thinking mostly like SF, portland, Seattle, etc, ie the places that have a lot of conclaves.

    It happens with our group almost every year. Lines get crossed, communication breaks down and the next thing you know, someone is listed in multiple groups. Once I even had a member of my group become Shin of their own new group without telling me. So I had another conclave's Shin also listed as a performer in my group. It was downright embarrassing.

    So what's the lesson? Talk to your Shin! Let them know your Conclave plans before you go switching teams!
