A UFO is planning on landing during a fluke aurora borealis in the desert and promises everyone a free superconductive fusion propulsion system with body straps. So now everyone can fly at high speeds and generate power wherever they go and cause chaos. Somehow the extra-terrestrials picked up signals beamed from Earth and had to visit and pay homage. Well, at least they told us they would; we’ll see what happens. The sound waves beamed originate from a new 2to6 release, “Equations”, and we gather to celebrate this release as well as the bdays of Arahat, Dropzone, Ritesh, Max and Desdemona and the 9th anniversary of Rachel and her husband☺, and a multitude of CD and Digital releases.

Need some comunity help.

I am in need of assistance to get wood together for the next event coming up. I need a trailer that can haul wood. I have a Honda CRV that i can use to tow with. We need a source of wood. So if anyone has a ranch or friends with some one that has large chunks of wood around that I can come get, that would be amazing. I could use some help gathering up wood this coming weekend. If anyone has a truck that can also bring wood, or help haul up wood. The long and short is, I need some help so I am reaching out to the Psy community.

I got an new album coming out on 2to6 records called "Equations", should be out by the summer

there is a new Digital EP to be released soon, actually 2 of them, 3 tracks each, by Mind Tweakers rec, Brazil. one from Monks of Madness (Bodhi vs Arahat) and one from Battery Leak (a new project, Bodhi vs Limbertimbre)

we got a new psycircle comp in the oven, should be done soon, work in progress title is "mentalism"

school is starting back up for me, I'll be going from Feb-May. couldnt get any snowboarding done during the break since there were no storms here in Cali, but I did get out to the Coso range in E.Cali for some geothermic study:)

Psycircle is planning another event soon. our last one, Recrystallization 11/15/08 with Karash (sooooooo brilliant!) was a complete success. We are not hosting another event until we can clear entry for another artist to enter the USA. (we have been trying to bring out Psykovsky and Atriohm)
huge thanx to Drewcifur and Bedouin for the wonderful XLR8R, sorry we couldnt bring it closer to the dance floor guys, but trees dont like fire.

we have more people to make deco for the parties (string art, etc). lately we have been hosting small deco parties where people just sit around and make stuff.

Kiwi is going to have a "creation station" at the next Psycircle, a place where people make their own stuff to wear at the event. more on this later.

we are working on version 3.0 of psycircle.com. should be up soon, thanx to Ritash.

I wrote this track when I was staying in NYC for new years 07-08, and I have remixed it a few times since. It features a sample from Revenge of the Nerds, Gilbert teling his girlfriend "c'mon, it's(your computer) not inhuman, only humans can be inhuman"

Its got a chill, trippy sound kinda like Parvati rec style, but it has some funk to it along with some morning-ish elements.

James is one of our favorite psychedelic prog artists and we can't tell you how happy we are to have him come play for everyone. Shadow Fx is known for his smooth blend of deep, funky, psychedelic progressive that is distinctively shaped from the Zenon sound. Them Boyz out there in Australia know to how to throw down some tunes. Zenon is Rocks !! Shadow Fx was created in 2002 by 26 year old James H. from Melbourne, Australia. James started his musical career studying and playing drums and guitar in high school. Then at the age of seventeen he discovered psytrance in and around the famous trance hot spot of Byron Bay. After listening to and Dj'ing the music for several years, he decided to moveto Melbourne and make a serious effort to put his own mark on the scene. He bought a computer and started to produce full time, leading him to the smooth and refined sound for which he is known today. In recent years he has played at many parties all over Australia including RainbowSerpent, Earthdance and Audiogasm. He has also released compilationtracks on ZMA and Zenon, plus on Cosmic Conspiracy records with his brother Tetrameth. In 2007 he released his debut album Direct Influenceon Zenon.

We've been hoping to get DJ Nokturnal (Darvin Knorr) down here for awhile and now he's finally coming. A recent addition to Zenon, he is nowready to showcase the label's sound at gatherings around the world,which could best be described as: smooth, intelligent and most definitely nothing but psytrance. Over the last 10 years Darvin hasbeen a very important part of the Canadian electronica community as apromoter, DJ and budding producer who has never been one to do something half-way. Liquid Mind is a collaboration of twisted style psychedelic trance composers from California and beyond. Compiled by C.L. Martin (Bodhisattva 13:20) in order to help induce the flow of psychic energy to the mind, this comp is dedicated to the infinite possibilities within the subconscious. The music contained within will help to crack the code of the psyche, and move you to the next level, so that we may continue to regain balance with the natural world.
Ranging from 148-158 bpm, this music is perfect for the outdoor nighttime psychedelic trance experience. The disk begins with Glyph’s smooth and trippy beats, followed by Electrypnose’s tweaky, glitched out style. Limbertimbre comes next with the same style, but harder. Clilium turns up the crazy knob, and Dai continues the same pattern, with less glitch. Mubali then shifts gears toward a deeper sound, retaining intensity. The Monks get a bit wackier, with comic samples, while remaining deep and trancy Arabali then slams us with insanity, followed by Mubodhi who goes deeper and more serious. Bodhi then ends the compilation with an unsane 158 bpm oddity.

just a quick background on the artists - glyph(psycircle, chaos unlimited, CA, debut) is bob from orange county, an old school integral gathering dj and part of the chaos unlimited crew. electrypnose (kabrathor rec, peak rec, SWZ) is from switzerland and has many releases on many different labels including a couple albums. limbretimbre (CA, debut) is an IDM vinyl artist utilizing his skills for his new love, trance glitchy and psychedelic style. cilium (sanaton rec, CA, debut) is the alter persona of bodhi, or alternative experiments one could say. cognoscenti ( aka dai - geomagnetic, psytribe, CA) is a new project out of california. this guy is a recent import from japan, and his sound is very familiar to some of the acts coming out of that area. mubali (trishula rec, CA) aka "the reverend", has several releases on many labels including an album released in 06. monks of madness (darkstar, CA, debut) are the collaboration of bodhi and arahat. arabali (geomagnetic, CA) is a collaboration of arahat and mubali, and mubodhi (darkstar, CA, debut) is a collab with mubali and bodhi. bodhisattva 13:20 (darkstar, CA) has released two albums and several releases on many labels and ends the comp with a 158 bpm oddity.

The space is roughly about 20ft by 40ft and is perfect to host evening events such as yoga classes, kirtan, meditation, spiritual and personal development courses. The space is decorated by vibrant healing mandala tapestries, great night time lighting, and is in a center with spirit family that resonates with crystal vibrations. witches! This month's Halloween edition of Electric Shock will be a
scary good time - we've put together our most devilish lineup yet!

One of California's premier psytrance producers/dj's, Bodhisattva
13:20 is a jet-setter with regular gigs around the globe. Producing
and playing out live since 1999, he'll be bringing a rack of original
material as our first psytrance guest at Electric Shock. Along with
his music production & DJ sets, Bodhi produces psytrance events from
Mexico to the Mojave to Burning Man with his fellow Psycircle brethren
(www.psycircle.com).

Amongst the top female DJ talent in SD, Daemia has been coming up
strong in the drum & bass world. You'll find her just about anywhere
DnB is played – she seems to appear out of thin air laying down
tracks, bobbing her head to the beat, or promoting one of the many
events she's always got going on - with a smiling face and love of the
music.

Since it's Halloween we had to keep it dark & dirty with two of your
8:39 residents. Moody Moore's style was made for the season as she'll
be rocking plenty of skulls and heavy beats. Death Metal Brian is no

New Arahat Live/DJ set - Soul of the Peacefull Warrior - Discs 1 & 2 - Plus my archive

Hello everybody, I recorded a new mix at home in my studio not too long ago. Its titled "Soul of the Peacefull Warrior", Disc 1 and 2. I mixed straight through for 2 1/2 hours, then split it into 2 CD's.

It was mixed using M-Audio's Torq dj software and recorded 24 bit to Soundforge, then mastered in Cubase SX. I used two Pioneer CDJ-800's going into an Ecler mixer to control the tunes in the software using the Timecode discs, with the tables set to Vinyl Mode.

I just uploaded it to my friends server along with a bunch of my older mix sets from the last few years. Included is a mastered version of my New Years Eve set from this last year split it into Three, 1-hour files. There's a breaks mix, a Radio station appearance, as well as my fav's from 05.

Thanks for reading and listening, I hope you enjoy at least one of the mixes. Please post any comments whether positive or negative, constructive criticism never hurt anybody.

Synchronize for Wednesday Jan 31,2007,

After last weeks Blitzing attack from Organic Chris, Zul & Alien Mental, I needed to go to unwind a little before I drove home (led foot, ha ha). So I went to visit Ross, Spook and Leslie (always a pleasure). What happened while I was there was horribly tragic. ROSS’S MAC G-5 DIED! This is something that not only affects Random personally, but also affects every one of us! (If you’re a trancer, you are affected) This G-5 is his creative medium. Many of us know he works continuously through this medium to bring us a huge piece of our entire goa/psy experience. From the mastering of many of the compilations that we love, to his own compositions which are to say the least, beyond brilliant and abundantly fresh.

So here is what I am proposing, a call out to everyone to again take on a Bodhisattva nature, that we all do so easily, and help Random get his G-5 fixed! Some one recently was asking for donations to help another one of our friends when Yariv (who is truly a Bodhisattva) pointed out that for him alone it was impossible. However if every one of us helps a little bit, what was impossible will be very easy and painless!

So this weeks Synchronize is going to be about what we can do easily, together, collectively with the Bodhisattva nature we all have inside us. So we will be asking for an optional donation at the door to help Ross fix his medium (and we do mean optional). You do not have to donate and no one will judge or think less of you!

In return we will be going “all out” this week and pulling out all the stops. We have a killer line up for you this week. With all this talk about connecting to our Bodhisattva nature, it is no coincidence that a favorite of ours will be in town, and his name brings this intent. A new thing for travelers

Hello from Los Angeles...

I've been hard at work since being run out of Hadrin on a rail three years ago. Well, sometimes. I wrote a book that's now being reviewed by the editing pros (what do you bet they'll think i'm verbose?) and I finally developed the website so many have heard me talk about over the last few years.

What we once called the buyers collective is now online live at www.erinslist.com (yeah, it's named for the head shopper). The idea is simple: the site allows travelers to upload photos of items they find in farflung markets while traveling, making them available to a network of retail clients. If the retailers order an item the traveler can go back into the market and buy it for them. It takes the risk out of shopping, in a way. Take a look if you get a chance.

In addition, each traveler is provided with a blog to share their experiences with both their friends and our retail clients. The blog allow for uploading photos and movies as well as linking to any of the products they've found for sale.

Erinslist is a utility for retail clients, but friends and family are welcome to register and use the site if interested in any of the things we or other travelers find and upload. Even better, if you plan to be traveling please contact me at gary@erinslist.com about using erinslist as a tool. It's free.

It's my great pleasure to present Naga Helix, an outdoor event in Northern California with 18 hours of psytrance from the renowned act GRAPES OF WRATH and favorite local talent. Our Danish friends last visited the area three years ago and have only been to the country once since then so please take advantage of this rare chance to see them perform their incredible music live. The gathering will be in Belden, a resort town on the shores of the gorgeous Feather River Canyon alongside Highway 70. Camping and parking space is limited so please share tents and rides. Also make sure you bring swim gear to cool off and relax on the beach!

As the 30th is Naga Pachami (Festival of the Serpent) we are honoring these animals and all they embody. The snake's regenerative powers and waved motion symbolize the eternal spiraling of universal cosmic forces. Naga, the divine serpent, also represents the dormant Kundalini energy coiled at base of our spines which rises through and activates the chakras as we awaken to full potential. This entwined nature is also seen within the double helix of DNA, the fundamental path of life we travel towards higher levels of consciousness.

Mindfull is pleased to present Soulsync, a full 48 hour event in Northern California with a tasty lineup of local and international artists to keep our bodies dancing and spirits flying to a common beat. We're especially excited to bring Derango here for their first U.S. appearance and Polyphonia for his first time on the west coast so you really don't want to miss these two amazing live acts.

The location is only two hours south of San Francisco with smooth roads all the way to several acres of beautiful private land. There'll be a chill area with DJs, food, drinks, merchandise, art, body painting, massage tents, yoga and more for a full community gathering. Summon your primal nature and let it guide you, as we connect to the celestial expanse of the Mojave desert landscape and star-filled sky, through dance and celebration. Invoke your power animal. Let your inner self shine under the light of the full moon. Wolf Spirit, Snake Spirit, Rabbit Spirit, Owl Spirit..... we call you in to join our dance of life and renewal in the blossoming heart of spring. Reveal your inner animal spirit through costume, mask, body paint and more. Please plan to arrive early (before dark) and join us at Moonrise (8:51pm) to begin the celebration. An opening ceremony will prepare us for the all nite dance ritual. Once the circle is cast, an ancient drama will be interpreted with a blaze of fire dancing and capoeira. And then the dance begins…

Guiding this ritual, on the fabulous Network 23 sound system, will be:

about the face paints: just FYI there won't be any blacklights at this gathering, the "deco" consists of the beautiful desert backdrop and our beautiful dancing and costumed selves.... the more of us that are dressed up the cooler it will be There will also be an altar created by our good friends Takuan the pickled radish and Josie. - about arriving early: this is an all nite intentional dance ritual. I really would like to encourage everyone to arrive early, in time for the opening ceremony. It would be ideal if all the participants could be present as we cast the circle and begin our journey through the nite. The opening ceremony will start at moonrise, approx. 8:51 pm...
- the lineup is fantastic. you should expect the music and the dance to take you on a deep trip through the nite, and then tickle your senses silly with a sunrise set from fractal cowboys. I'll be posting the full lineup here as the time gets closer.
- This is a LEAVE NO TRACE event, please pack out what you bring in and RESPECT the earth!
- Please bring everything you need to survive in the desert: water, food, sunscreen, etc. If you have a shade structure to set up beside the dance floor bring it!
- Please carpool!! No one gets left behind! You can use our tribe to coordinate rides: mistressofevil.tribe.net
- Please leave any negative energy you have at home. Come with an open mind and heart, and treat each other and the land with respect!

This is the annual San Diego event that spawned off of the Xara camp at burning man. This year, they are bound to reach their 1000 people capacity. The registrations have already exceeded 500 2 months before the event just by word of mouth, so there are now less than 500 left and the promotion begins. Soon all of the spots will be gone.

There are two main stages this year, one of which is the EDM stage (the ruins of xara). The talent for this stage is organized by Bodhi of Psycircle and proudly features a nice variety of psytrance at night with other of the various complex electronic music genres during the day. Most performers on this stage are producers and live acts, including Bodhi, Arahat, Psytrip, Prophei, Predator, Psyborg, XIV, Coeptis, Dropzone, and OMSK 411. The lineup will be posted soon.

On the outskirts of the great cities of California, clandestine gatherings occur that blast sonic waveforms catalystic to chemical reactions within the mind. Most commonly held in the massive Mojave desert, the redwoods, and the chapparal elfin forest, these gatherings last for hours sending the listeners deep into a trance, connecting and unifying with nature, soaring through the cycles of time and space until omnipresence has been achieved. Wizards train and contemplate for years until the craft of psycho-kinesis via sonic manipulation creates such a powerful presence that all subconciously succumb to it's awesome psychedelic trance. One of these wizards has caught these frequencies onto a foil disk and is willing to share a small portion of these secrets with the world. These frequencies are nocturnal in their nature, and illuminate when focused on.

A Bodhisattva is one who follows a path of omnipresence, enlightenment, and omnipotence, and encourages others to follow this path, which in this case uses music as a form of encouragement. 13:20 is the code of time, denoting 13 moons and 20 suns. Just as in dreams, time as we know it does not exist in deep trance states. To escape time is to master it and control it. A lucid state of subconciousness is required to escape time, leave your physical body, and return to the source, where all is possible. To better focus in this realm, channels of conciousness must be opened through channeled sound frequencies. As we progress through our evolution of the mind, the frequencies must evolve so that those in the present time succumb to them. This CD is an attempt to capture a milestone of the evolution of these frequencies.

This is a book I wrote on how to use Reason 3.0 like a pro using abstract methods and happy accidents to make great tracks.
It is strictly for the advanced user or at least one who thoroughly understands how audio devices work. It took me 10 months to write, from about fall 2004-summer 2005. It is about 300 pages long. Reason version 3.0 is a magnificent software used for composing music on a computer, known for its brilliant sequencer, unique virtual synths and samplers, and its user-friendly environment (for example, like being able to undo ANY action performed). This program can be used as a plug-in with host programs such as Logic, Ableton, and Cubase.
