So I have made a new commitment. I was telling my friend that the only way that I know I will go and exercise is if I have someone tell me that they are going to be expecting me at a particular time. I am using my weakness of not letting people down to help me in another way.
She agreed to be that person, if I would do the same for her. We are keeping each other accountable and doing well.
So far it's been a week and I feel great!

Fri, March 7, 2008 - 8:01 AMI did the same thing with a work friend....unfortunately I haven't gone the past couple of weeks because either myself or my son has been sick. There was a nasty thing going around work recently.
Anyway...just keep it up for 3-4wks straight and it'll be a habit..and then you won't necessarily need your friend to go. Make sure you go at the same time every day..it'll help. The eventual hope is that you'll feel bad if you want to skip a day at the gym and you'll go w/ or w/o anyone saying they are going to be there
