To any and all of you that were in Portland for the opening of the Hippodrome (Boenobo and Vegas good to see you both again) that stuck around for the afterparty and danced your asses off to Gypsy Sound System and GlobalRuckus, Gypsy Sound System (all the way from Switzerland) will be playing this Friday at Amnesia. Gypsy beats, balkan bangers, klezmer dancehall and more. I told them I'd talk them up in the Bay, so that's what I'm doing. They ARE fantastic. Should there be any type of afterparty type thing going on that night, they LOVE afterparties, so if your so inclined, show up, dance your ass off and ply them with vodka and beer.
